*Staff Accountant Job Expectations:*

1. Reconcile accounts receivable general ledger balances to underlying electronic medical record data and reports.

2. Prepare and post month end and year end journal entries.

3. Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.

4. Assist in the preparation and review of department reports and dashboards.

5. Ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP requirements.

*What we need from you for this position:*

1. Education

* Bachelor Degree in Accounting

2. Experience

* Three to four years accounting experience, not for profit experience, healthcare preferred but not required.

3. Licensure

* Valid Indiana Driver's License.
* CPA license/ eligibility to sit for CPA exam is a plus

4. Skills

* Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel
* Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and Crystal Reports
* Ability to work independently in a thoughtful manner
* Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
