Accounts Receivable Technician BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Technician in Indianapolis, IN 46225 Job Title: Accounts Receivable Technician Duration: 12 Months Location: Indianapolis, IN 46225 Anticipated Start Date: ASAP (Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.) Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week) Pay Range: $27-$29.15/hr (Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: * Coordinating and clear cash receipts and ensure their correct accounting and reconciliation through to the GL * Completing the trade AR cash collection process including customer account research (assigned customers), proactively contacting customers to confirm timely payment, resolving customer issues independently as well as in conjunction with the appropriate finance business partner and/or commercial team member * Providing AR statements to customers and preparing customer account reconciliations as well as managing trade AR disputes and customer payment promises * Researching AR transactions to support customer needs and/or internal/external audit requests * Updating FSCM for customer contacts (required % to meet metric) payment promises and invoice disputes Qualifications (Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Basic Requirements: * Associate degree with 5 years of accounts receivable experience OR * Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of accounts receivable experience OR * Masters Degree in accounting OR * Experience in Lieu of degree with 7 years of accounts receivable experience * In order to be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen. * Proficient in Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables, Macros) Preferred Requirements: * Current experience with SAP - nice to have, can be trained * Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment that is highly deadline-driven Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
