Job Description Job Description Benefits: 401(k) matching Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Wellness resources Maintenance Director Genesis Health Clubs (Louisville, KY) Pay: $70,000 per year (based on experience, HVAC certifications, and leadership capabilities) Full-Time | Multi-Site Role Covering Louisville Area Clubs Job Summary: Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our Louisville-area fitness clubs. This is a leadership-level position responsible for facility upkeep, HVAC and mechanical system operations, project coordination, and the supervision of local maintenance teams. Ideal candidates will bring strong experience in HVAC (commercial systems preferred) , electrical and plumbing repairs, preventive maintenance, and facilities management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and execute daily maintenance operations across multiple club locations Lead and supervise a team of maintenance associates within your assigned region Manage HVAC systems , plumbing, electrical, and general facility repairs Conduct routine inspections to ensure clubs meet company standards for safety and operation Respond to maintenance tickets, emergency repairs, and safety concerns in a timely manner Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for all critical systems and equipment Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of purchases, inventories, and repair histories Ensure facility grounds (interior/exterior) are well-maintained and clean Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and club leadership for larger repair or construction projects Monitor and uphold building safety and security standards Support project planning and club upgrades as needed Requirements: Minimum 2 years of maintenance leadership experience (multi-site experience preferred) HVAC knowledge required (commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred) Strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to supervise and train maintenance associates Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to communicate professionally with both team members and leadership Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and various maintenance systems Able to respond quickly to maintenance emergencies across multiple facilities If youre a hands-on leader with the technical expertise to keep our clubs running at peak performance, apply now and help elevate the member experience at Genesis Health Clubs.
