Job Summary

The Marketing & Graphic Design Student Assistant will work closely with the Assistant Director of Research Communications and the OBP Corporate Relations Officer to promote corporate partner engagement at Indiana University through creative design and effective marketing.

  • Collaborate with departments, student organizations, and other constituents to develop marketing materials, proposals and/or strategies for corporate partner engagement opportunities.
  • Create high-quality photographs and graphic designs that support Office of Business Partnerships website and social media presence.
  • Use of social media to inform constituents of corporate events and encourage attendance.
  • Assist with drafting graphics and content, e.g., web & social media postings, press releases.
  • Other duties as assigned.


    • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University. Preferred
      • Marketing and/or graphic design focus. SKILLS
        • Skills in Adobe CS including Illustrator and Photoshop, Canvas, Microsoft Office.
        • Ability to update web content using a website content management system.
        • Exceptional communication skills.
        • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
        • Willingness to complete assignments outside the normal scope of marketing and/or design.

          Advertised Salary

          $15.00 per hour.

          Flexible work schedule, up to 19.5 hours per week.
