Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12
school setting located in Indianapolis, IN. This contract role,
starting ASAP, offers flexibility with a full-time schedule and
openness to a four-day workweek. The caseload primarily includes
preschool through 5th-grade students, with a few students at the
junior/senior high level. Serving a small, rural district, the
caseload consists of approximately 60 students, about half of whom
have Language Impairment (LI) or Speech Impairment (SI) only. Key
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech,
language, and communication disorders in students from preschool to
12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and school staff to support student progress. Maintain
accurate documentation and progress reports. Participate in
meetings and provide recommendations for educational planning as
necessary. Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech
Pathology or Communication Disorders. Current state licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required. Prior experience in a
school environment is preferred, though not required. Strong skills
in pediatric speech-language therapy and school-based services.
