No Nights or Weekends Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans Support childrens social, emotional, cognitive and physical development Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness Supervise and provide individualized support to children Assist in communicating with parents about their childs progress and activities Adhere to health and safety guidelines Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment What We Offer (varies by location) : Competitive hourly wage Paid time off and holidays No nights, weekend and holiday schedules Childcare reimbursement/discount Professional development and CDA assistance Recognition programs Paid training Continuing education opportunities Qualifications: Experience preferred High school diploma required Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree a plus Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Shows empathy and compassion for young children Works productively without supervision Basic understanding of child development Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children If youre an energetic, nurturing person looking for a supportive and fun workplace, join us!
