Workstate seeks senior development champions with a performance engineering experience, particularly as it relates to migrating apps to public cloud infrastructure. While our Central Office is located in Columbus, OH across from the North Market and close to Short North and Downtown / Arena District, we have distributed teams in San Francisco, Seattle and LA. We connect across the miles over Team Brunch every Friday where we share what we've been working on throughout the week and discuss new technology, tools and techniques that excite us. (Currently, there also may be dogs, cats and children involved in these virtual brunches.) This position is only available to U.S. residents based in the continental U.S. who are eligible to work for any employer without need for visa sponsorship or transfer.
While this position is located in Columbus, OH, at our headquarters, all of our consultants are currently on work-from-home status due to the current situation with COVID-19. Requirements Technologies of interest include the following. The ideal candidate will have experience with some of these technologies but not necessarily all.

• Experience in tools like Jmeter & Loadrunner to test performance of APIs and web applications
• Experience in designing and implementing performance test strategies and distilling relevant non-functional requirements
• Expertise in performance monitoring and analyzing bottleneck at various application layers
• Hands-on experience in using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Appdynamic, etc.
• Experience developing and deploying production apps in AWS
• Particular experience with S3, EC2, EMR, CloudFront, EKS/Kubernetes, Networking desirable.
• Certifications in AWS (Certified Developer & Certified DevOps Engineer) a bonus
