Fluid Mechanics Engineer -

We have a position for a Fluid Mechanics Engineer to support the
development of fuel agnostic solutions
Job Location : Hybrid - local to Columbus, Indiana to enable going
into the office 2-3 days per week.
What you will be doing:
- Develops neural networks and machine learning programs in order
to allow for software in the loop and model in the loop
simulations.
- Evaluates design iterations for liquid and gaseous fuels and
provides recommendation based on his work output.
- Develops and improves simulation methodology for New, Unique,
or Difficult (NUD) queries. -
- Leads efforts to include different physical mechanisms in a
single simulations (multi-physics)
- Leads with minor supervision a project to optimize service life
predictions.
- Implement optimization techniques to drive more efficient fuel
system components.
- Coordinates and directs work amongst peers and temporary
student employees.
- Provides support and guidance to influence technical direction
within the fluid dynamics team.
- Perform numerical simulations based on established best
practices in the areas of fluid structure interaction (FSI),
coupling with electromagnetics (EM), and general flow analysis

What you'll need to be successful:

- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace
Engineering
- Hands on CFD modeling experience using ANSYS Fluent or
STAR-CCM+
- Fluid/solid interface temperature effects modeling
- Application of CFD theoretical concepts
- Proven problem solving experience
- Experience with Matlab and Python preferred
- Experience with AI and/or Neural Networks preferred
- Proficient in the development and application of mechanical
devices
- Development cycle understanding (innovation to validation to
launch)
- Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills
