Our success is reflected in our reputation among academic peers, our career placement statistics, and the accomplishments of more than 117,000 living alumni around the globe.Job Summary The Assistant Director will support the highly competitive undergraduate program serving over 9,000 students, including 8,000 plus Kelley undergraduate students and an additional 1,000 plus non-Kelley students and over 1,300 employers. Foster relationships with employers, alumni, and professional colleagues globally through face-to-face outreach efforts and internally with students. Help to formulate and implement the corporate outreach strategy for the Kelley undergraduate program. Work to promote the school to corporations and employers including the development of marketing materials and online information. Manage a high touch and high tech recruiting program that embraces the needs of both students and employers. For the Kelley School of Business, the likelihood of securing one of many post-graduate employment opportunities has been instrumental in recruiting new students into the school. For the Class of 2019, 97 percent of bachelor's degree graduates were employed or accepted to graduate school within six months of completing their degree. The work of the Assistant Director for Employer Relations is critical to the recruitment of new students and to the success of the School. The Assistant Director will report to the Director of Employer Relations and assist in managing all aspects of departmental programs and services. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience including recruiting, human resources, management, and corporate relations with Fortune 500 companies interacting with senior-level people. Ability to build effective relationships with excellent communication and listening skills. Superior interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment. Ability to work well under pressure and possess the energy and time necessary to support UCS in its on and off-campus recruiting activities. Demonstrated ability to market and promote career services and demonstrated high levels of professionalism. Excellent presentation skills and experience in personnel and project management. Comfortable with technology and ability to learn new systems. Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment, with a relentless commitment to facilitating world-class undergraduate student learning and career development. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in business, counseling, or related field. Five years of related work experience including recruiting, human resources, management and corporate relations with Fortune 500 companies interacting with senior level people.Working Conditions / Demands Occasional travel required for company visits and professional conferences.
