With an individual centrally responsible and aware of the events within the school, Kelley is in a much better position to know and understand the breadth of touch within and among companies. Specific activities include but are not limited to: The CFO Roundtable, an event in which CFOs from top corporations join together to meet with Accounting and Finance faculty and students; case competitions (e.g. Diversity Case Competition, Real Estate, Sales, Investment Banking Workshop pitch competition); MBA Academy week activities which provides 400+ residential MBA students direct experience in their field of study; faculty, staff, parent, alumni and donor receptions and dinners. In addition, the Project Manager is the conduit for all surveys within the Kelley School. Approximately 30 surveys are completed each year, along with the AACSB accreditation review.

Job Summary

The Project Manager at the Kelley School of Business serves as a member of the Deans' Office in centrally managing all aspects of major events, working with the top leadership including but not limited to deans, department chairs, program directors, center and institute directors, academy and workshop directors, etc. In addition to the efficiencies gained within the school through the centralization, this role will also assist the school in meeting the AACSB accreditation requirement of reporting on the Kelley School of Business' impact on our external constituents.

Department-Specific Responsibilities: This position is responsible for all management and collection of survey information as well as screening for accuracy.
Responsible for meeting survey deadlines and assuring accuracy and consistency of the provided data.
General Responsibilities: Provides experienced assistance with project management activities, resource allocation, and communication.
Develops a schedule designed to meet necessary deadlines and communicates with team members.
Monitors project progress and handles highly complex issues that arise.
Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Allocates tasks and assignments to lower-level appointed staff and monitors their performance.
Performs a variety of administrative skills and prepares correspondence related to the project.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree.
WORK EXPERIENCE

Required
4 years of relevant experience.

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
