These services are provided to individuals of all ages who are experiencing Autism and/or other developmental differences, in home and community-based settings, including under-served populations and communities.We are committed to advancing the status quo across the field and providing an increasing range of services designed to support individuals' development throughout their life.One of the ways we aim to advance the field and support our communities is by providing child care services. In this regard, we are looking for someone who has the experience and training, as well as a shared worldview and commitment; to join our team and help us develop and provide this service.We've been established since August 2016, have been experiencing substantial and sustained growth and need additional talent to support our efforts for the individuals and families we serve. Comprehensive full time benefits with eligibility at 30 hrs/wk Employee recognition and reward system with tangible perks 401K/Roth IRA with employer contribution Profit sharing opportunities for full-time and part-time employees Focus on work-life balanceOur Director of Inclusive Childcare Services and Development position performs and oversees a variety of activities including, but not limited to: Creation/procurement and maintenance of curriculum(s) as needed/indicated for program services provided Creation and maintenance of all related policies and procedures Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Develop and manage staff and childcare schedules Create and maintain documents needed for all operational and regulatory requirements Develop/facilitate intake process with prospective families Monitor and manage scheduling as needed/indicated Ensure all health and safety codes are followed reliably Monitor and manage reliable procurement of all necessary provisions Develop and implement systems which ensure reliable staff coverage Ensure that staff are reliably supported throughout the center Interview, train and manage lead and assistant teachers 1:1 feedback meetings with lead and assistant teachers Coordinate and facilitate routine team meetings Coordinate with clinical team to ensure productive, safe, meaningful inclusion of other service recipients and personnel Ensure all employees receive reliable, ongoing professional development and training in accordance with best practice standards Other related duties as assigned _If this is who you are_ Have a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree with at least nine credit-bearing hours of specialized college-level course work in administration, leadership, or management, and at least twenty-four credit-bearing hours of specialized college-level course work in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education that addresses child development, learning from birth through kindergarten, health and safety, and collaboration with consultants Several years experience as a childcare provider with previous experience as a childcare director highly preferred The ability to serve as one of the primary points of contact for all families being served through our child care division. The ability to collaborate with the families, teachers, and members of the clinical management team Serve as the contact person for communication between SCI and the State of Indiana through the licensing process and beyond The ability to provide ongoing collaboration, support, and follow through across and between all stakeholders The ability to take ownership of a limited range of urgent needs at times during the "off hours". Professional communication skills. Experience and/or strong interest working with special needs children and families. History of taking initiative and ability to demonstrate a solutions-oriented approach to challenging situations. Ability to brainstorm and work collaboratively as a team with a variety of technicians, clinical and administrative support professionals, individuals and family members. Ability to contribute to systems and process development, maintenance, and improvement. Comfortable with occasionally rigorous scheduling demands, various web-based software applications. Works well in a team environment. Interested in supporting a growing organization both when things are easy and when they are hard, and have fun doing it. Receives and implement feedback accurately and efficiently Is compassionate towards others, no exceptions Strong self-awareness, empathy, integrity, and humility Efficient time management skills Strong technical writing skills Professional communication skills History of taking initiative, and ability to demonstrate a solutions-oriented approach to challenging situations Enthusiasm for learning and teaching others _Are we a Match?_ All Directors of Inclusive Childcare Services and Development are required to work reliable hours within a traditional schedule Opportunities to work from home and/or non traditional hours on a limited basis may be available. Some travel to various service locations may be required on occasion.
