They will develop their direct reports, communicate safety policies, GAT's core values, and mission effectively across all organization levels. The role involves directing activities to ensure a safe environment while providing efficient services in a fast-paced, 24-hour operation. The candidate must display professionalism, a sense of urgency, passion for service improvement, and possess strong business management knowledge.Job Duties:

  • Conduct monthly safety meetings for all employees.
  • Manage all operational activities and multiple carrier contracts.
  • Conduct flight, station, and behavior audits.
  • Participate in safety conference calls.
  • Instill safety awareness and determine staffing needs with customers.
  • Oversee recruiting, staffing, and compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (FAA, OSHA, EPA, Department of Labor, EEOC).
  • Investigate incidents, report, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage disciplinary actions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate operational purchases and supplies.
  • Review payroll to stay within budget.
  • Monitor operational irregularities and document out-of-scope activities.
  • Hold regular meetings, briefings, and inspections.
  • Review operational reports and investigate service failures.
  • Implement station operational plans (deicing, safety, winter operations, baggage).
  • Conduct personnel evaluations and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Respond to concerns and attend airport meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • 5+ years in the airline industry.
    • 5+ years managing teams with financial responsibility.
    • Executive presence and experience in large corporate environments.
    • Experience managing multiple customer markets.
    • Strong strategic, business, and motivational skills.
    • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Self-directed, motivated, and proactive leadership.
    • Willing to rotate schedules to ensure visibility and coverage.
