Abacus Early Learning Centers are a private, family-owned business that has been providing top quality childcare for over 35 years. Our purpose is to be a trusted partner in raising great kids! Our centers are Paths to Quality Level 4 and NECPA Accredited. Our staff are professionals who serve our families with meaningful, honest, and genuine passion. We have four locations and serve ages 6 weeks through 12 years.--Abacus Early Learning Centers are looking to find a reliable, trustworthy person to fill Director positions.Director Responsibilities:40 Minimum Hours a weekOversee day to day operationsEnsure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for all children and staffComply with all state regulations and company policiesMaintain the center's PTQ Level 4 and NECPA Accreditation--Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional developmentInterview, hire, and train new staff membersCommunicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center's policies.Manage and oversee the budget and accounts and ensure that the center remains profitable.Evaluate and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.Director Required Qualifications:Must be 21 years of ageBachelor's Degree with at least 15 Early Childhood Education Credits or CDAAssociate degree in Early Childhood EducationMinimum 5 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education fieldDirector Preferred Qualifications:Management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership and people skills.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.Friendly and approachable demeanor.Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic always.Director Job Benefits:Bi-weekly payQuarterly BonusesPaid Time OffHoliday PayChildcare discountHealth / Dental / Vision Insurance401K plus company matchingMonday - Friday, NO WEEKENDS!Compensation details: 50000-80000 Yearly SalaryPIe0ce2e7ebddb-25660-29205491
