Sr. Manager, Lead Acquisitions

The Sr. Manager of Lead Acquisitions (SMLA) establishes the strategy and tactics to drive an increasingly efficient publishing lead flow in the early phases of the author lifecycle, across acquisitions channels and imprints. The SMLA will also work closely with the lead engagement manager to drive downstream efficiency. Ultimately, the SMLA will need to ensure that leads are of sufficient quantity and quality to achieve the company's operating plan. Primary Responsibilities: ---Implement company customer acquisition strategy and deliver quality leads.

  • Oversee performance marketing optimization activities for lead campaigns from multiple channels.
  • Liaise with external vendors to maximize returns for external affiliate leads.
  • Collaborate with external partners to continually align customer acquisition activities to current industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain a dynamic team positioned to seek out and address unmet customer needs.
  • Deliver cost savings to the company through efficient campaign management. Qualification and experience requirements: Candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, majoring in marketing, computer science or analytics & mathematics. (An MBA is preferred.) Additionally, the candidate must have 5-7 years' experience in direct-to-consumer and/or digital marketing, including experience initiating, operating, programming and analyzing the results of campaigns to select consumer segments. Direct experience in cross channel performance marketing is a bonus.
