• Certification Details
• Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) - Only AHA NRP is accepted.
• Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO) required as applicable.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required as applicable.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) required as applicable.
• National Certification for Technicians required as applicable.
• State License Verification required within 30 days before start date.
• NIH Stroke Certification required as applicable.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam possibly required.
  • Job Details
  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
  • Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, to inpatient acuity adaptable units
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed

  • RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek.

          • Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be a clear copy.
          • AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
          • Require as applicable.
          • Photo for Badge required asap.
          • Proof of valid auto insurance required.
          • Completed within 12 months of the start date.
          • Completed by 3rd party only.
