**Job Summary:**
Registered Nurse (PCU RN) position available with IU Health, requiring certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must have a valid driver's license or passport and proof of valid auto insurance.





**Job Description:**

* Certification Details:
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable.
* Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP) - Only AHA NRP is accepted.
* Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO) required as applicable.
* Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required as applicable.
* Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) required as applicable.
* National Certification for Technicians required as applicable.
* State License Verification required within 30 days before start date.
* NIH Stroke Certification required as applicable.
* Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam possibly required.
* Job Details:
* IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities after 11/30/24.
* Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule.
* Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, to inpatient acuity adaptable units.
* Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed.
* RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
* Guaranteed Hours: 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek.
* Job Requirements:

* Guaranteed Hours: 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek.
* Unit Specific Information:
* Unit details: Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
* Additional Details:
* Valid Driver's License or Passport accepted. Must be a clear copy.
* Photo for Badge required asap.
* Proof of valid auto insurance required.
* Completed within 12 months of the start date.
* Completed by 3rd party only.
