today.The Short Stay/Medical Observation unit is located and
incorporated with the ED where you will be cross trained in
emergency. We will have a 24-bed observation only unit and will
have a Hospitalist and NP designated to this unit where they will
institute a rapid ADT: admission, discharge and transfer of patient
into and out of this unit. This is a great unit to start in if you
have a desire to grow into the Emergency Department.Why Join IU

earn.QualificationsRequires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.Requires an active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.Requires that the RN has
graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.Requires
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.Other advanced
Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department
