nurse RN Maternal - Newborn for a travel nursing job in Louisville,
Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: Maternal -

weeks ~48 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment
Type: Travel Shift: 645p-715a, every other weekend Required: BLS,
STABLE, NRP, 2 years experience Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of
acute care RN experience Work Experience (Desired): None Education
(Required): Diploma or Associate Education (Desired): Certification
(Required): Registered Nurse Certification (Desired): Skills Needed
• IV insertion • Blood draws • PCA pump • Wound vac Charting
System: EPIC Unit Name/Type of unit: Mother Baby Selling points for
the unit: Deliver most babies in the State of KY, postpartum stable
moms and infants, patient ratios beds/procedures: 59 beds Patient
ratio: 1:6-1:8 Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? No Top
diagnosis/procedures: Post delivery Common equipment used: Scales,
TCI Meters, Dinamaps – Infant & Adult Does RN need to be able to
titrate medication? No Common medications given: Post-delivery
medications – stool softeners, pain relievers, Prenatal vitamins,
Rhogam, Pitocin Certifications required: BLS, Stable, NRP Scrub
