seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in
Louisville, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:
Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment
Type: Travel • Shift: 6:45AM - 7:15PM • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend • Call Requirements: None •
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH & KY License • Years of
Experience: 2 • Float Requirements: Yes – any PCU or Med Surg units
Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 16 beds • Patient Ratios: 4:1
or 5:1 (6:1 if floated to other units) • Equipment: IV Pumps, Chest
tubes, Epicardial pacing wires • EMR: Cerner Hiring Profile: • Must
Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac PCU experience, CABG experience •
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Competent post cath sheath removal,
competent with cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem,
primacor, dobutamine, dopamine, and heparin • Type of Patients on
Unit: Intermediate, step-down unit, PCU. We are a cardiac unit that
specializes in post op open heart, dysthymia, chest pain, chf, CABG
patients post op day 1-2 until discharge • Personality Fit: Team
oriented
