Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: KY License or RCIS Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of working experience as a Cath Lab Tech. Experience with McKesson and Cerner preferred. Description: The cardiac cath lab is equipped with 6 beds. There is a 1:1 patient ratio in the procedure room, with only one case at a time. The equipment includes GE X-ray systems, and the EMR systems are McKesson Cardiology and Cerner. Candidates should possess detail-oriented skills and troubleshooting capabilities. Clear and concise communication skills are necessary. The ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment is essential. Weekend call requirements are 1-2 weekends during a 6-week schedule. There are 1-2 call days during the week, subject to change based on staffing. Preferred skills include structural heart experience. This position requires working with a diverse patient population.
