Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 18:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, National Board of Respiratory Care Certified RRT or CRT Must-Have Skills/Experience: Critical care experience Description: Required Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License. National Board of Respiratory Care Certified RRT (will accept CRT). The shift is from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36. Every third weekend is required, subject to change. No call requirements are necessary. The unit includes an array of equipment including 980 and 840 ventilators, AVEA, Hamilton, HT70 vents, V60, cough assist, metaneb, and Nitric Oxide. Electronic Medical Records system used is Cerner. The position requires teamwork and collaboration. Preferred experiences include Level 1 trauma experience and transplant/cardiac experience. Dress code requires scrubs in designated colors with specified acceptable attire. The facility is recognized for numerous medical innovations and a commitment to advanced patient care.
