Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months required License: Must have an in-state license or compact license in hand prior to start Certifications: Required certifications pertinent to the unit must be in hand Must-Have: Must be comfortable working in an acuity adaptable unit. Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs is required. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in PCU. The unit provides care for patients ranging from medical-surgical level to PCU/stepdown/ICU level care. Patient ratios will vary from 1:4 to 1:6 based on acuity and patient type. The candidate will be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. Work blocks will be discussed upon interview. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the unit. COVID-19 vaccination is not required; however, flu vaccination is required unless a medical or religious exemption is provided. Candidates must adhere to established background policies. All personnel must have their required documentation and references submitted prior to the hiring process.
