Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience License:
Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NIH, ACLS Must-Have: -
Experience with PCU patients - Ability to read telemetry strips -
Experience with IV insertion, blood draws, PICC/Central line
management, dialysis fistula, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, epidural/PCA
pump, feeding tubes, and wound vac Description: The shift is from
6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend required. The unit
accommodates a variety of patient diagnoses and procedures. The
patient ratio is 5:1 and can flex to 6:1. Great teamwork is
emphasized within the unit. Experience in titrating medications,
including heparin, is necessary. Candidates should have a diploma
