qualified Med/Surg RN in Lafayette, Indiana, 47905! Pay Information
$2,149 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

Charge pay is available. First-time travelers are accepted.
Travelers must work 3 shifts per week, with every other weekend
required. The unit has a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. The
majority of patients are for medical issues, including COPD
exacerbation, pneumonia, COVID-19, chest pain, and small bowel
obstruction. There is a small surgical case load, averaging 1-3
post-surgical cases per day, including procedures such as gastric
sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, and
cholecystectomy. Travelers may be required to float within the
hospital or to nearby affiliates. Candidates must work 2 out of 3
major holidays. Two supervisor references are required for
submission. Requirements include starting the licensing process for
the state if the start date is more than 4 weeks out.
