Job Description iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position: OR RN (CV/PV/Heart and Lung Transplant) - IU Health Location: IU Health, Methodist Hospital /nShift: 4x10s, weekday shifts (CV call and holiday required) /nCall Requirement: 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule /nBill Rate: Includes $3.00/hour charge pay bump /nLocal Traveler Rate: $15 below standard bill rate for IN residents Requirements: - Scrub Experience: Mandatory; must rate 3/4 in scrubbing CV, PV, Heart, and Lung Transplant procedures - Circulate Experience: Required, Level 1 Trauma Center - Specific Procedures: Must have experience in: - Heart/lung transplant - Valve replacement - Aortic dissection - Receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing for cannulation - Core 5 Skills: Must rate 3s and 4s in CV, PV, Heart, and Lung Transplant - Certifications: BCLS required - License: IN/Compact license in hand or fingerprint application package submitted - Level 1 Trauma Experience: Required for first-time travelers - Flexibility: OR RNs must be well-rounded and current in most areas (except CV & Transplant) as they will float as needed Unit Details: - Average Daily Census: 70-80 - Rooms: 24 - Special Equipment: DaVinci XI - Special Procedures: CV, PV, Heart, and Lung Transplant Additional Notes: - First-time travelers accepted with Level 1 Trauma experience - Provide 2-3 days of interview availability when submitting candidates About iDEAL Hire iDeal Travel Staffing is dedicated to working with the best of the best in travel healthcare.
