experience Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse
in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of 2 years of experience. The position requires strong
clinical assessment skills and the ability to work independently.
Candidates should be team players and demonstrate compassion
towards patients, visitors, and coworkers. A calm demeanor under
pressure is essential. Experience with Cerner is preferred along
with charge experience and familiarity with Level 1 trauma centers.
Expected patient ratios are 1:4 or 1:5 depending on acuity.
Equipment in use includes Phillips monitors. A commitment to
providing quality patient care is essential. Weekend shifts are
required every other weekend, though this may vary based on
department needs. Float requirements will depend on departmental
needs. Dress code includes royal blue scrubs with restrictions on
open-toed shoes and other scrub colors. All candidates must meet
the required certifications. This is a dynamic and vital role that
contributes to patient care in a fast-paced environment.
