Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
an Emergency Department position requiring a compact or IN license
and at least 18 months of recent ER experience. Responsibilities -
Position is in a hospital-based Emergency Department - Night shift
schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Every
other weekend is required - Floating required within the hospital
and to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed - No local candidates
are accepted for ER positions - Cerner EMR is used in this unit -
Must work two out of three major holidays as scheduled - RTO policy
allows up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off to be
auto-approved; more requires facility approval - First-time
travelers are eligible for this position - Pre-employment modules
must be completed prior to starting the assignment (average 4–6
hours) - Dress code and additional facility-specific onboarding
requirements will be communicated at time of offer Requirements -
Active IN or compact RN license in hand by start date - Minimum of
18 months recent ER nursing experience and at least 1 year of prior
travel nursing experience - Current certifications required: ACLS,
BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA & RQI accepted) - Must have
graduated from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE - Cerner
charting system experience required - Must provide two supervisor
references - Any previous permanent or PRN employee must have a
12-month gap before being considered as a traveler Benefits - High
