Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of travel experience required. Previous charge experience preferred. 18 months of experience required. License: Active RN license required prior to start date. Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS PALS TNCC Must-Have: Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Willingness to float to nearby facilities as needed. Flu vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Description: The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of travel experience. Position involves 3x12-hour night shifts. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend. Candidates may be required to float occasionally. No local candidates will be accepted for this position. Candidates must work either 8 or 10 hour shifts for a guaranteed 40 hours in one workweek. For three 12-hour shifts, 36 hours are guaranteed in one workweek. Required skills include management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage. Experience with continuous IV sedation and ventilated patients is preferred. Candidates will care for a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Advanced interdisciplinary support is available including respiratory services and pharmacy. Candidate must be comfortable with a patient ratio of 4:1 during shifts.
