BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred -
Experience with Cerner charting system required - Experience with
patient ratios of 5:1 - Must be comfortable floating Description:
Charge coverage may be required depending on operational needs.
Unit charge nurse responsibilities will be trained and supported.
Candidates must be willing to accept charge nurse duties. Position
requires commitment to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Candidates
must have temporary or permanent licenses submitted before start
date. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will not be
considered. Travel experience is required for this position.
Experience in various medical and surgical diagnoses is preferred.
Patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics. Candidates must
meet all compliance requirements for submission. Floating to
different areas of the facility is expected. The unit has
interdisciplinary support from various services. Daily patient
census is approximately 24.
