qualified PCU RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408! Pay Information
$2,580 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse

Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have:
Comfortable in both Progressive Care Unit and MedSurg settings.
Experience managing patients with various acuity levels. Ability to
work with telemetry and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips.
Description: Now offering charge pay for eligible RNs. This is a
mixed acuity unit requiring proficiency in Progressive Care and
MedSurg nursing. RNs will work across all required areas. Patient
ratios are 1:5. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage
is required every other weekend. The unit focuses on patients with
cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, cardiology, endocrine,
and oncology diagnoses. Skills in interpreting and managing
dysrhythmias are essential. Experience in post-cardiac surgery
care, including management of arterial lines, blood administration,
and central line care is required. Preferred skills include
intra-aortic balloon pump management, pre/post-cardiac
catheterization, sheath removal, and care of ventilated patients.
Previous charge experience is preferred. All private rooms are
equipped with overhead lifts. Interdisciplinary support is
available from physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy,
and others. Travelers will be required to float within the hospital
or nearby facilities based on patient needs. Candidates must work 2
out of 3 major holidays. No on-call shifts are required. Previous
experience with telemetry is necessary. Ability to manage various
patient conditions, including those needing high flow nasal cannula
and non-invasive airway management, is essential. Phlebotomy skills
are required, along with proficiency in managing feeding tubes and
PCA administration. Candidates should be experienced in
