Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified PCU RN in Bloomington, Indiana, 47408! Pay Information
$2,098 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Must
obtain state license prior to start Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
NIHSS Must-Have: - Must be willing to work charge - Comfortable
with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 based on acuity - Experience in
PCU, DOU, IMC, or stepdown - Experience in telemetry or cardiac
telemetry preferred Description: This unit is an acuity adaptable
unit. Patients range from medical surgical level of care to PCU,
stepdown, and ICU level of care. Ratios will vary based on patient
acuity type. Candidates must be open to floating within the
facility as needed. Weekend work is required every other weekend.
Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. First-time
travelers are accepted for this position. Unit diagnoses include
COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, urinary tract infections, and congestive
heart failure. Candidates will be required to manage cardiac drips,
administer oxygen, and interpret dysrhythmias. Interdisciplinary
support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory
services, and social services. Positions require familiarity with
the Cerner charting system. All candidates must comply with
floating requirements within the hospital. Medical or religious
exemptions are applicable for flu vaccination. COVID-19 vaccination
is not required. Two supervisor references are needed prior to
