Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/09/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with 18 months of ER nursing and travel experience required, holding a current IN or compact license. Responsibilities - Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting - Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am - Weekend work is required every other weekend - Patient care primarily in the ER with possible floating to nearby sister facilities - EMR system is Cerner—experience required - Responsible for providing emergency care for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced setting - Floating to other units and nearby hospitals is mandatory for all travelers - All candidates must work at least 2 out of the 3 major holidays - First-time travelers are accepted for this position - Modules must be completed prior to start and average 4-6 hours - Local candidates are not accepted for ER positions Requirements - Active IN or compact RN license in hand prior to start - Minimum 18 months of Emergency Department RN experience required - At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience in the ER is mandatory - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or RQI accepted, all must be current) - Nursing degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation - Must provide two supervisor references - No previous permanent or PRN employment at the facility within the past 12 months Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628968.
