Compensation - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1890–$1940 ER RN Job Details – Indiana Healthcare Jobs - Location: Bloomington, IN 47408 (Indiana nursing jobs) - Setting: Emergency Room (ER) - Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/10/2026) - Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30) - Hours per Week: 36 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Float Requirement: May float to nearby sister facilities as needed - Patient Ratios: 1:4 - Orientation: 48 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand prior to start date) - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC - Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) - Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during contract - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) - Provide 2 supervisor references - Cerner charting experience preferred - Non-local candidates only (Indiana residents not accepted for ER positions) ER Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver emergency care to neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients - Perform triage, assessment, and management of diverse patient diagnoses - Initiate and manage IVs, continuous IV sedation, and ventilated patients - Interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response) - Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed - Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner charting system - Complete orientation and required modules prior to start Discover the charm of Bloomington, Indiana—enjoy lively downtown, excellent dining, and outdoor activities while making a positive impact in the local healthcare community.
