Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 9 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active KY or compact RN license and two years of recent IR experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Vascular Radiology department within a hospital setting - Day shift, scheduled from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm - 13-week assignment - Focus on interventional radiology procedures with a vascular patient population - Perform specialized nursing care during interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic radiology procedures - Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity vascular environment - Must provide explanations for any gaps in work history of three months or more - Testing modules and required training such as CPI will be assigned and must be completed - Only AHA certifications are accepted for required life support credentials /n /n Requirements/n - Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions on file - Minimum 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology - American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required and must not expire during the assignment - Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of consideration - Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training, which may be completed onsite - Must be fully vaccinated for flu and COVID-19 - Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-646447.
