Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel - Cardiac PCU RN - 6:45pm - 7:15am • Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre/Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved. THIS IS NOT PACU • Comfortable caring for a 4-5 intermediate patient team Position Information: • Role: RN • Specialty: Angioplasty Recovery (PTCA)/PCU • Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend • Call Requirements: None • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License • Years of Experience: 2 • Float Requirements: Yes - Any Med Surg or PCU Unit Information: • Number of Beds: 14 • Patient Ratios: 4:1; 5:1 (& specialty teams w/TAVR, MitraClip or Watchman) • Equipment: Phillips Telemetry Monitors; Safeguards; FemStops; TR Bands; TVP • EMR: Cerner Hiring Profile: • Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 Years Cardiac PCU experience, IV insertion, Telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG • Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCCN, Pre/Post Cath Lab, Sheath pull experience • Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiac Recovery • Personality Fit: Self-motivated, Team-oriented, Willingness to learn & be taught new thing, Friendly and Out-going Dress Code: • Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue Tops; Pants Galaxy blue or black Travel - Cardiac PCU RN - 6:45pm - 7:15am/n• Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre/Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved.
