Job Overview & Responsibilities: As an Inpatient Occupational Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with hospitalized patients to bring them a sense of normalcy and independence through self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. You are comfortable communicating and educating patients, family members, and caregivers on how to best assist with daily routines. This role gives you the opportunity for interdisciplinary team collaboration to ensure the best and most evidenced based practice for our patients. Clinic Information PT Solutions partners with Ascension St. Vincent Health System to provide specialized rehabilitation services within a 125-bed inpatient facility, including 13 dedicated acute rehab beds. Our clinic is committed to offering exceptional care to patients across various stages of recovery, particularly those recovering from trauma, surgeries, and strokes. As a Level 3 Trauma Center, Ascension St. Vincent handles a wide range of complex and emergency cases, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. Additionally, the hospital is Joint Commission (JC) Stroke Certified, reflecting our commitment to providing specialized, evidence-based treatment for stroke patients.
