experience required Description: This position offers charge pay
for charge nurse responsibilities, pending operational needs.
Travel nurses may be assigned students to shadow during their
assignment. Staffing ratios include 1:3-4, with rare instances of 5
during emergencies. Typical patient diagnoses include
cerebrovascular accidents, hydrocephalus, brain tumors and
resections, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, and more. Travelers
will be expected to manage telemetry, proficient neuro experience,
and management of intravenous drips. Floating to different levels
of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) may be required. Medical/religious
exemptions for flu vaccine will be considered. Candidates must work
2 out of 3 major holidays during their contract. Two supervisor
references are required for submission. All travelers must have a
nursing license in hand prior to the beginning of the contract.
This position may involve interdisciplinary support and
coordination of care. Candidates should be comfortable with
potential charge nurse training and related responsibilities.
Preferred skills include arterial line management, care of
ventilated patients, neuro stepdown experience, and blood product
administration. A background check policy will be in place prior to
