Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) | High-Acuity Cardiac Cases | Advanced OR We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a highly specialized surgical team delivering complex cardiovascular care. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to advanced cardiac procedures in a collaborative and well-supported OR environment. Why This Role Stands Out - Work on high-acuity cases including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, AAA, and heart & lung transplants - Strong team support – 1 RN 1 Tech assigned to every case - Exposure to advanced OR technology, including Da Vinci robotics (preferred experience) - Structured orientation program to ensure a smooth transition - Predictable scheduling with 6-week schedule cycles - Free parking with badge access Patient Population - Adult patients only - Complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases Key Responsibilities - Circulate in CVOR procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency - Perform and assist with Foley catheter insertion, chest tube management, and AED use - Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs - Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR - Support high-quality outcomes through adherence to best practices Technology & Equipment - EMR: Cerner - IV Pumps: Plum ICU Medical - Medication System: Omnicell - Equipment: Bovie, harmonic, tourniquet, OR beds, stretchers - Robotics: Da Vinci D5 (preferred, not required) Scheduling & Requirements - Schedule created in 6-week cycles - On-call required (40-minute response time) - Weekend & holiday rotation based on unit needs - Floating: May assist in vascular OR (if comfortable) Requirements - Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience (required) - First-time travelers not accepted - Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA required) - Strong experience in circulating CVOR cases Quick Apply Today!
