Radiology Tech Location: Louisville, KY Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $2,100 to $2,200 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job details: Position: Radiology Technologist Location: Louisville, KY. Shift: Days – 4x10s (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) Duration: 13 weeks Job Duties Operate imaging and computer equipment to produce quality images Understand human anatomy, physiology, and image quality Prepare and guide patients before procedures Answer patient questions and provide education Ensure patient safety and proper communication for all age groups Follow correct patient positioning and imaging techniques Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards Perform quality control checks on equipment and images Train and supervise students during clinical practice Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in general radiology Knowledge of: Imaging techniques and equipment Human anatomy and physiology Radiation safety Patient care and communication Infection and quality control Certifications ARRT (R) certification State Radiology License (KY) BLS (Basic Life Support)
