Radiology Tech Location: Louisville, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,957 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Radiologic Technologist Profession: Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two years of experience in general radiology License: State Radiology Tech License Certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS Must-Have: Pediatric experience Description: The Registered Radiologic Technologist utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images. These images must meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of human anatomy and physiology as well as image quality. Applies professional knowledge to prepare patients for procedures. Educates patients and responds to their questions or concerns. Ensures an age-appropriate approach to communication and safety needs. Provides patient education based on principles of physical and functional growth and development. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning and imaging techniques. Ensures radiation safety and proper use of imaging equipment. Implements infection control and quality control techniques. Oversees and trains students while providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training. Applies radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Assesses and prepares patients for procedures and addresses their questions or concerns.
