Job Description PS Companies is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel PS Companies is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU RN for an opening based in Newburgh, IN. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position. Float Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. Required Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes. * 3 call-ins can result in termination * Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires Requirements include, but are not limited to: Active IN RN License. 3 years Cardiac/Tele experience Travel experience Epic experience BLS (AHA) Certification ACLS (AHA) Certification NIHSS Certification Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
