quality, equity, and integrity.Job SummaryAs an HR Coordinator, you
will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective
functioning of our Human Resources department. Your role is
essential in ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of
queries, as well as providing ongoing support to the HR team to
ensure the smooth daily operation of HR processes.Department
Specific Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing various administrative tasks,
maintaining records, and acting as a key liaison between the HR
team, employees, and external customers.
- Oversees the CRM for IU Research, ensuring accurate and
up-to-date records of actions, decisions, and time frames for the
HR team.
- Maintains files and records, process transactions, and provide
administrative assistance to the HR team.
- Acts as the intermediary between the HR team, employees,
departments, and external customers, facilitating smooth
communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Assists with administrative tasks related to Talent Acquisition
and Training and Organizational Development.
- Sets up meetings for the HR team, manage team calendars, and
ensure smooth scheduling.
- Drafts, creates, and sends out communications on behalf of the
HR team.
- Oversees office inventory, including ordering office supplies
and managing office-related tasks.
- Prepares, organizes, and stores information in both paper and
digital formats, manages data in spreadsheets and reports, and keep
records up to date using HR software.
- Provides ongoing support to the HR team to ensure the smooth
daily operation of HR processes.General Responsibilities
- Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains HR related
work, which may include but not limited to: recruitment, training,
benefits, employee relations, performance evaluations,
classifications, I-9s and employee leaves of absences.
- Researches and analyzes HR related topics to help assist in
resolving issues and/or creating solutions.
- Creates, compiles, prepares, and analyzes reports and documents
for HR related activities.
- Performs and may coordinate data entry for processing
transactions and maintaining and keeping information current for
candidates, employees and/or retirees on a variety of HR
issues
- Provides administrative and related support to other HR
staff.
- Supports and maintains HR programs and events; maintains
up-to-date records of actions, decisions, and time frames.
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee
records and documents.QualificationsCombinations of related
education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the
minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work

- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or
GED)Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
or a related fieldWORK EXPERIENCERequired
- 3 years HR related experience plus advanced experience with
Microsoft Office Suite productsPreferred
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role
is highly desirable
- Familiarity with HR software and CRM systems is a

DemandsThis role requires the ability to effectively communicate
and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity
equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods
of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The
person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions
