Job Description:
Physician - Psychiatrist BCforward is currently seeking highly
motivated Physician - Psychiatrist in Remote Position Title:
Physician - Psychiatrist Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date:
Tentative start Date 06/20/2025 Please note this is the target date
and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead
of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 1 Years with
possibilities for extension Job Type: Contract: 10-15 hrs/week Pay
Range: $100/hr to 120/hr on W2 Please note that actual compensation
may vary within this range due to factors such as location,
experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass
additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time
off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: Physician with board
certification of psychiatrist and unrestricted license to practice
as MD or DO in the US. Must be physically located within the US.
Will review prior authorization requests for medical services to
determine medical necessity. All review and decisioning is
performed via electronic review. Will be required to be available
for peer to peer reviews that may be requested based on a negative
action. May be required to participate in a Fair Hearing should a
negative action be appealed to explain the medical review process
and decision making. Supported by a Medical Director and a team of
physicians doing similar work. Part time position. Estimated 20-25
hours per week with increases when covering for leave of other
physicians. Position is for contract only, will not convert.
