--- Research detection mechanisms for attacks on wireless network environment and endpoint devices, such as IoT devices and smartphones.
--- Survey, analyze, and simulate attacks and threats in endpoint devices. Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities:

• Research and develop innovative solutions.
• Research detection mechanisms for attacks on wireless network environment and endpoint devices, such as IoT devices and smartphones.
• Survey, analyze, and simulate attacks and threats in endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software.
• Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) for potential vulnerabilities and detection methods.
• Present conference papers and give presentations.
• Share information, help coworkers, and mentor junior members.
• Follow agile methodologies and contribute in all development cycle of solutions.Main requirements:
  • Proven 10+ years of experience working with information security in industry and/or academic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network and endpoint security or malware analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and libraries (Scikit-learn, Pandas, WEKA).
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or C/C++ programming languages.
  • Proven track record of publications in international conferences and journals.Language requirements:
    • Written and verbal fluency in English and Portuguese.
    • Korean fundamentals (desirable).Education degree:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas.
      • Master's and PhD degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas. Skills and Qualifications Optional requirements:
        • Strong knowledge of Android operating system.
        • Strong knowledge and experience with reverse engineering.
        • Strong knowledge of cryptography.
        • Knowledge of network protocols and packet analyzers.
        • Experience with intrusion detection/prevention technologies (WIPS, NIDS, HIDS, NBA).
        • Experience with Docker technology.
        • Experience with wireless protocols stack, such as Wi-Fi, 3GPP (4G to 5G).
        • Experience with distributed machine learning frameworks (Spark MLlib, Tensorflow).
