our environment. What You’ll Be Doing The Packaging and
Serialization Data Broker Solutions Architect for systems
supporting Global Packaging Printed Material Management (BLUE,
EyeC, Pkg Engineering CAD Systems and Lilly’s Serialization Data
Broker (Tracelink) is a critical role within the Eli Lilly Supply
Chain. The focus includes system support, leading and influencing
business teams, serialization trading partners, other supporting IT
teams, and software suppliers in the global packaging space. Key
deliverables and goals are met through solution development and
implementation leadership with the ability to influence the Pharma
Supply Chain business unit. Your key role will involve
collaborating closely with Global Packaging and Serialization teams
in understanding business requirements and seamlessly integrating
solutions for their business processes. This will include
configuration of the software, troubleshooting technical issues,
conducting system tests, System Validation, and providing training
and documentation to ensure efficient and compliant execution of
serialization processes. Your technical expertise and knowledge of
Packaging and Data Broker Solutions will be vital in optimizing our
packaging and serialization operations, enhancing product
traceability, and ensuring regulatory compliance in serialization.
How You’ll Succeed You will bring your technical knowledge and
experience to design, develop, validate, implement, enhance, and
maintain Packaging and Data Broker solutions, including BLUE, EyeC,
Pkg Engineering CAD Systems, Tracelink, and related data interfaces
ensuring serialization compliance, optimal performance,
reliability, and data integrity. Deep technical knowledge of
processes and practices to effectively collaborate with
cross-functional Engineering and packaging teams and drive
continuous improvement. Demonstrate a combination of technical and
soft skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
and drive continuous improvement in communication, and
problem-solving to address challenges and optimize our solutions in
this area. Effectively lead testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing
maintenance to ensure system reliability and accuracy of data.
Benchmark using external data regarding emerging serialization
requirements and trends advancing Serialization technologies,
driving innovation, and leveraging the latest capabilities. Verify
documented processes and procedures are in place for all activities
to meet quality and compliance standards. Experience with Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computer System Validation (CSV)
regulations will be vital in ensuring documented processes and
procedures meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills are required to
identify and address issues, optimize system performance, and
enhance packaging efficiency. Excellent communication skills to
effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and
vendors, ensuring clear and concise communication of technical
concepts and requirements. What You Should Bring Experience with
Serialization Data Broker Solutions such as Tracelink.
Understanding of Global Serialization data exchange requirements
including US Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). Experience
with Global Packaging Material Management and Packaging CAD
software. Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud computing
including quality and security requirements. Must be familiar with
file transfer protocols, formats, and standards such as XML, AS2,
and EPCIS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
build relationships with stakeholders and business partners and
articulate complex technical concepts. Analytical and
problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical
issues. Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced,
dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with Computer System Validation. Familiarity with
serialization protocols, unique identifier generation and
aggregation methods Knowledge of product labeling, track-and-trace
methodologies, and regulatory compliance related to global
serialization. Familiarity with industry standards such as GS1 and
FDA DSCSA regulations System integration with enterprise resource
planning (ERP, SAP, ATTP, Data Marts) Your Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1 years of
experience working with Serialization Data Exchange Software such
as Tracelink, Integration with SAP ATTP, ICH and/or Tracelink is a
plus. Knowledge of Packaging Material Management Software. Lilly is

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $123,000 -
$180,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
