Job Description:
GXO Logistics, a leading provider of advanced supply chain
solutions, is seeking a highly qualified Manager of Trade
Compliance specializing in Foreign-Trade Zones (FTZ). This pivotal
role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable
trade laws and regulations to maximize operational efficiency and
cost savings within GXO's FTZ operations. The ideal candidate will
lead initiatives to maintain the integrity of our compliance
programs while driving continuous improvement in our trade
processes. Leveraging cutting-edge technology and a thorough
understanding of trade regulations, this role is essential in
supporting GXO's commitment to exemplary operational practices and
superior customer service. Develop and implement comprehensive FTZ
compliance policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits and
assessments of trade compliance within our FTZ operations,
reporting findings to senior management. Manage relationships with
government agencies and ensure adherence to all legal and
regulatory requirements. Drive improvements in FTZ operations by
leveraging technology for greater efficiency and cost reduction.
Train and supervise the trade compliance team to ensure a high
level of expertise and accountability. Stay updated with changes in
trade regulations and adapt processes accordingly. Collaborate with
other departments to integrate compliance measures and enhance
overall operational efficiency. Expert knowledge of U.S. and
international trade regulations, particularly those governing
Foreign-Trade Zones. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage
cross-functional teams. Proficiency with compliance software and
applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
decision-making capabilities. Strong communication and
