Purpose and Objective

The Seasonal HR Assistant works with HR Coordinators to confirm compliance in all steps of onboarding employees in our fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions (Primary)

  • Understand and follow procedures while thinking critically about workflow and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with and accurately track new hires to confirm all onboarding steps have been completed under tight deadlines
  • Easily learn and comfortably navigate new programs such as our Applicant Tracking System, drug screen website and background check website
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Maintain a positive, no task is too small attitude in a team environment

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • High level of computer literacy

Skills/Knowledge

  • Professional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
  • Ability to work in person or remotely

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, talk and hear, have close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The position is intended to be in person, but should the climate require remote work employee must be able to provide a quiet work environment with strong internet.
