Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana is a state of the art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of a drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. Catalent's Bloomington location provides drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This award-winning facility helps customers accelerate biologic drug development programs and bring better treatments to help patients live better, healthier lives. This position will contribute to the Patient First philosophy by improving the overall quality of our products and providing direct linkage to improving outcomes for patients.

This is a Full Time/Permanent position and the hours are (2nd shift) Monday - Thursday 2:00PM - 12:30AM

A manufacturing associate's primary duty is to perform a variety of operational tasks in accordance with current GMP's. Responsibilities include: Follow accurately all GMP documents (Batch records, SOPs, protocols, etc), operate safely production equipment, operate in a clean room environment within required gowning, aseptic behaviors, and proper flow procedures, must work effectively in a team environment to achieve company goals, must adhere to company compliance, safety and attendance requirements.

Manufacturing Associate

  • Has developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience
  • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Safely operates complex equipment
  • Regularly applies theories and principles for one's technical discipline
  • Effectively trains other personnel
  • Performs equipment setup & changeover
  • Actively promotes and demonstrates good communication and escalation
  • Troubleshoots basic equipment and recommends solutions
  • Drives area continuous improvement activities
  • Promotes compliance by providing respectful & constructive peer-to-peer feedback

TYPICAL MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School/GED required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of GMP experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
