Job DetailsDescriptionWhat you would do at True Rx Health Strategists:As the Compliance Office for True Rx Health Strategists, responsibilities include: reviewing and understanding complex legislation and regulations at both the Federal and individual State levels, developing compliance plans to meet the requirements of the applicable legislation and regulations, monitoring and reporting on adherence to compliance controls, recommending and assisting True RX Health Strategists to implement compliance controls to obtain and maintain compliance.True Rx Health Strategists is a pharmacy benefit manager operating in several States within the United States. As such, True Rx Health Strategists are subject to a myriad of State and Federal regulations to include the Affordable Care Act, ERISA, HIPAA, Federal and State Transparency Regulations and State registration/licensing requirements.Previous Experience and Abilities:
  • This role will be within the legal suite and work closely with the General Counsel, COO and CEO, as well as other department heads providing compliance responses.
  • Oversee compliance activities in support of a fast growing, highly regulated business.
  • Manage teams responsible for managing and providing compliance.
  • Work closely with management to drive compliance as a core competency and integrate compliance into business plans, metrics, and processes.
  • Ensure that compliance risks are addressed, and corrective actions are taken, as appropriate; Assist business units with development and promulgation of appropriate compliance controls and corrective actions.
  • Oversee and ensure the development of policies and procedures needed in response to new or existing laws and regulations, both State and Federal.
  • Writing and preparing legal materials.
  • Conduct investigations of compliance deviations or failures.
  • Promote compliance reviews and risk assessments.
  • Establish education programs and provide and/or promote continuing training and education.
  • All other duties as assignedIdeally you have:
    • Must have a bachelor's degree preferably in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Business or Public Administration.
    • Preferred Master's in business administration or Juris Doctorate.
    • 3 or more years of experience in a regulatory compliance position in managed care, or insurance.
    • You will also need to comply with State licensing and all renewals for licensing with all States.
    • Experience working within a Pharmacy Benefit Manager or Third-Party Administrator.
    • Working knowledge and understanding of various compliance report format requirements including machine readable formats, text, delimited, JSON, etc., and how they present compliance data for review.Our Story:
