If the answer is yes, the Eligibility Navigator position at WindRose Health Network could be the job you are looking for.We are currently seeking a Eligibility Navigatorthat will work effectively within the WindRose Health Network culture, which is described as family-friendly, supportive, transparent, and treats employees as we would want employees to treat our patients.Bartholomew County is looking for a full-time Eligibility Navigator. An Eligibility Navigator (EN) establishes and maintains a positive, consumer-oriented approach when assisting patients and consumers at a WHN Health Center. In addition to making patients and consumers feel welcome, the EN is responsible for helping consumers navigate through the myriad of health care resources for which they may be eligible and to assist them in making educated and informed decisions that best meet their healthcare needs.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:This position requires:

• The ability to interact positively with consumers/customers in-person or by the telephone.
• The ability to develop and maintain a flexible work schedule that could require evening and weekend hours.
• The ability to work effectively at a variety of job sites/work locations.
• The ability to prioritize conflicting demands/expectations as well as to multi-task effectively for sustained periods of time.
• Good interpersonal skills when it comes to building and maintaining effective business/work relationships.
• Effective time management skills.
• The ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal funding programs.
• Extensive knowledge of the enrollment requirements for all HCP's.
• Knowledge of WHN's data management system.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations related to HIPAA and Corporate Compliance.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING:A Education:A qualified candidate will have at least one year post high school education, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:A qualified candidate will need to be or become certified through the state of Indiana as an Eligibility Navigator.
  • A qualified candidate must have at least two years of work experience in an ambulatory care family practice clinic, a Community Health Center, a public health setting or a healthcare related environment.
  • Training:A qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of at least one word processing software package (preferably MicroSoft Word) and of one spreadsheet development software package (preferably MicroSoft Excel or MicroSoft Access). A working knowledge of at least one electronic medical record (EMR).
